Tuesday Tidbits #3

What will this week's tidbit be? Again, it could be anything that I've noticed or like, it could be a random thing about my life. So here is the second edition of Tuesday Tidbits.

Tuesday Tidbit: Every time I go out to a mall, a store, a park, a library, or a community centre, I try my best to always wear a hat (or if it's snowing, a toque). When I was young, I always wore small, mono-colored hats, and I've owned a good amount of different sports hats. Currently, I am wearing a San Antonio Spurs hat, but 2 other hats I've worn a few years back were a Miami Heat throwback hat and a Pittsburgh Penguins hat.

They look exactly like below:

I don't know where I've placed these hats in my home...

Friday Facts #3

Every Friday I post a small fact. It could be anything, from when Leonardo da Vinci had an invention of a plane back in the 1500's, when the first computer was invented, or even how a hockey rink turns into a basketball court in a couple hours.

Friday Fact: When sleeping, it is impossible to snore and dream at the same time. For me, I am the average snorer, but I still dream a lot.

I hope you still dream in the night if you snore a lot! Or if you don't snore at all, you must have a lot of dreams that you remember!

Tuesday Tidbits #2

What will this week's tidbit be? Again, it could be anything that I've noticed or like, it could be a random thing about my life. So here is the second edition of Tuesday Tidbits.

Tuesday Tidbit: Except in close friend group chats, I have NEVER sworn on social media comments or on any network where you can comment or chat (YouTube, Twitch). I personally think it's stupid to swear unless it's really needed or if it's with a close friend.

People will judge you for what you do, and starting off a chat/comment with a swear is NOT good. Nothing good will come out of it. Elsewhere, I have sworn a few times to 2 close friends, but that's it.

My Top 10 Male and Female Simpsons Characters: #2

I love the Simpsons, but there are characters I love more than others. So I am counting down my top 10 characters that ever appeared on The Simpsons for both genders. They could be a main person on the show, or someone who lurks in the background.

I will count one-time characters, but no guest stars nor animals. Here we go.

MALE
2. Clancy (Chief) Wiggum

Bio: Clancy is the head of police of the Springfield Police Department. He is a lazy police officer. Clancy is obese and incompetent, with a love of doughnuts. Along with most of Springfield's government and its police force, is also corrupt, having asked for or taken bribes several times. When Bart bribed him with stolen wedding presents, he told him to read his badge and, at the bottom of the badge read "Cash Bribes Only".

Clancy has a strained friendship with Mayor Quimby. He is often assisted by his more intelligent "top cops", Eddie and Lou. He is completely ignorant of Springfield's laws and even makes up his own laws on the fly, and quotes sayings from the police handbook which cannot actually be found in the book.

Why I Like Clancy (Chief) Wiggum: He's the most funniest police officer I've seen. I don't understand how he got into the police department. But he has a running gag of him being fat, and that's funny.

Fun Fact: Wiggum is sensitive to poison oak and will quickly get an allergic reaction if he makes contact with it.

One Time Character: He's recurring.

Funny Video: Well, it's Chief Wiggum, so here's 2 funny videos of him.

Still Hungry...

Car Chase!

FEMALE
2. Allison Taylor

Bio: Allison is a student at Springfield Elementary. She is just as smart as Lisa, and is also a year younger (she skipped a grade). Like Lisa, she too is a talented saxophone player. Allison is a bright and intelligent girl in addition to being cute and beautiful. She and Lisa have an on-off friendship. She is usually seen hanging out with Janey, Sherri and Terri, or Alex Whitney.

Why I Like Allison: CUTEST SIMPSON CHILD CHARACTER EVER (Alex Whitney is second). She's got a charm that I love.

Fun Fact: She has won enough trophies and awards to fill a room.

One Time Character: Yes, she only speaks two more times on the show after her main episode, Lisa's Rival. But she makes many cameos in the background. For example, she playing with the kids at school.

Funny Video: It's too hard to find a video of just her on YouTube. Here's two small gifs to replace the video though.

Friday Facts #2

Every Friday I post a small fact. It could be anything, from when Leonardo da Vinci had an invention of a plane back in the 1500's, when the first computer was invented, or even how a hockey rink turns into a basketball court in a couple hours.

Friday Fact: The population of kangaroos outnumber the population in Australia of a ratio of 2.25:1. There are around 60 million kangaroos in the wild compared to only 25 million people living in Australia.

There has also been many occurrences of people being attacked by kangaroos, but is no surprise when in Australia!

Tuesday Tidbits

What will my first tidbit be? Again, it could be anything that I've noticed or like, it could be a random thing about my life. So here is the first edition of Tuesday Tidbits.

Tuesday Tidbit: I really like Chocolate Chip Muffins and Cookies. They are extremely delicious. I eat the muffin at least once a week from Tim Hortons, and when they're fresh, they taste amazing!

Also, I like chocolate chip cookies. The best type of cookie are the ones that have a crunchy outside and a chewy inside. Mrs. Fields chocolate chip cookies are the best.

Elsewhere, the Chips Ahoy cookies are good, and any fresh cookie baked at say, a farmer's market, is delicious. COOKIES!

Saturday (Friday) Facts

I know what the title says, but only for today this post is on Saturday. I plan to post a small fact every Friday. It could be anything, from when Leonardo da Vinci had an invention of a plane back in the 1500's, when the first computer was invented, or even how a hockey rink turns into a basketball court in a couple hours.

Then every Tuesday or Thursday I'll be posting a tidbit about me or what I like/don't like. I'm not sure what the main focus will be about, we'll see.

The main reason I am doing this is because I'm unsure what to post for the next while, I just want to post extra stuff for now. So here's the fact below.

Saturday Fact: Normally you see red strawberries, right? Well, did you know there are also yellow, green, and white? They each have a different taste and some have a similar taste to pineapples. That's crazy.

Yellow strawberries look weird IMO.

My Top 10 Male and Female Simpsons Characters: #3

Okay, we're down to the final 3! I truly like these characters, and I hope you like them too. Also, one of the last 6 characters is a one-time character, so that's a hint on what will pop up in these final 3 posts.

I will count one-time characters, but no guest stars nor animals. Here we go.

MALE
3. Homer Simpson

Bio: Homer is the main character of the show and the spouse of Marge Simpson. He has 3 kids named Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. Homer is lazy and ignorant to people around him. However, Homer can be caring and loving to those he cares about. He works as a low level safety inspector at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant in Sector 7G, but he mostly sleeps on duty and eats the donuts that are provided. After his work, he goes to Moe's Tavern with his lifelong friends Barney, Carl, Lenny, and bartender Moe.

Homer is also the only son of Abe and Mona. Even though he hates Patty and Selma, Marge's sisters, he once played as Selma’s husband in order for her to adopt Ling, a Chinese orphan. Somehow, Homer is the legal adoptive father of Ling Bouvier. He has had many great achievements and experiences in his life, such as winning a Grammy, an Academy Award, a Pulitzer Prize, and has even been to space.

Why I Like Homer: He's the main character! Homer is funny at times and will have a heart even when he's angry and sad at times. There are many quotes that he has said over the years, and that is also memorable.

Fun Fact: He looks like his father when he is dehydrated.

One Time Character: Of course not.

Funny Video:

85 Pounds...

FEMALE
3. Maggie Simpson

Bio: Maggie is the youngest child of the Simpson family and the baby sister to Bart and Lisa. She sucks on her pacifier a lot, she trips over her clothing and falls on her face while walking. She rarely ever talks on the show. Maggie is quite a genius for her age. She has spelled out E=MC² with baby blocks, driven Homer's car, escaped from the Springfield daycare center, and treated her pacifier like a cigarette. However, Marge carries Maggie wherever they go rather than letting her walk by herself. She knows how to shoot a gun, as she has shot Mr. Burns once and saved Homer's life by shooting Fat Tony and his mafia.

She interacts with most babies her age, but has an ongoing rivalry with Gerald. They do not like each other. One uncommon fact people don't know about is that she is a good dancer, she has danced 3 or 4 times on The Simpsons.

Why I Like Maggie: No big reason, but she is always in the background when the family talks that normally she has some gag in the background. And she's cute when she laughs or interacts with other people.

Fun Fact: Maggie enjoys playing internet poker.

One Time Character: Nope.

NBA: Spurs at Knicks, 2 Wacky Events and Stat Lines

On January 2, 2018, the San Antonio Spurs were on the road facing the New York Knicks. A couple of crazy events happened at MSG, watch what happened.

Rollin, Rollin, Rollin

Manu!

Here are some stat lines for both teams:
  • LaMarcus Aldridge led the Spurs with 29 points and 6 assists.
  • Every starter for the Knicks scored at least 12 points.
  • Kawhi Leonard, Pau Gasol, and Dejounte Murray grab 8 rebounds each.
  • Kristaps Porzingis goes 5 for 19 on FG. Yikes.
  • The Spurs hit 28 of their 34 free throw attempts, good for a 82% average.
  • The Knicks shot 40% from the field, which was better than the Spurs...
...But at the end, the Spurs took the lead from the Knicks in the third quarter and never lost it, defeating them 100-91.
